Complimentary Shipping

All orders shipped to addresses within the continental United States qualify for complimentary standard shipping.

Rush Delivery Options

Currently, we do not provide rush or expedited delivery services. The large physical dimensions of air filters make expedited shipping costs prohibitively expensive. Fortunately, our strategically located manufacturing facilities across the United States typically enable us to fulfill orders within 3-4 business days to customers nationwide.

Delivery Beyond Continental U.S.

Our shipping services are currently limited to the continental United States. Similar to expedited options, international shipping costs (including Hawaii and Alaska) are too high relative to our product pricing. We recognize the value of our distinctive business approach and manufacturing methods, and we’re working toward international expansion in the coming years.

Product Returns & Exchanges

Quality Assurance Guarantee

We guarantee the quality of every filter we produce. Should you receive a defective or damaged product within 30 days of purchase, please reach out to us immediately to arrange a return or replacement. Return shipping costs will be your responsibility.

If your shipment arrives with damage—whether due to transit issues or manufacturing problems— notify us within 5 business days of receipt to qualify for a refund or replacement. We’ll request photographs of any damage to assist with quality control procedures and carrier claims.

Incorrect Specifications Ordered?

No problem! We’re happy to provide a complimentary exchange within 5 business days if you’ve ordered an incorrect size or MERV rating. Our customer service team will help you identify the ideal air filter for your requirements. Should you prefer a monetary refund instead, return shipping costs will be your responsibility. Please be aware that filters are manufactured with a ±1/8″ tolerance, so minor variations in standard dimensions may occur.

Changed Your Mind?

We completely understand. Unopened and unused air filters may be returned within 5 business days for a complete refund, though you’ll cover the return shipping expenses.

Why We Suggest Exchanges

Exchanges come at no cost to you and are typically processed much quicker than refunds. Additionally, you’ll receive the correct air filter for your specific needs without delay.

Additional Return Circumstances

While we’ve outlined the most frequent reasons for returns and exchanges, we recognize that unique situations arise. If you experience any issues with your purchase or require a return or exchange for other reasons, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Our customer service representatives are ready to assist you in finding a swift resolution.

Post-Delivery Damage

After a package receives delivery confirmation from the carrier (UPS), responsibility transfers to the customer. We cannot accept liability for packages damaged by weather conditions following confirmed delivery.

Important: We do not supply return packaging or reimburse customers for purchasing return boxes.

Amazon Marketplace Purchases

For air filters purchased via Amazon, please use Amazon’s standard return procedures. Amazon must authorize all returns—do not ship products directly back to Filterbuy.

Missing or Stolen Deliveries

Once the carrier (such as UPS) confirms delivery, package responsibility shifts to the customer.

We are not responsible for packages that go missing or are stolen post-delivery.

If your package shows as delivered but cannot be located:

Verify delivery status: Packages are sometimes marked delivered several hours ahead of actual delivery

Search your property: Delivery personnel may place packages in secure locations like rear entrances or covered areas

Check with neighbors: The package might have been delivered nearby or collected by a neighbor for security

Reach out to us: We’re glad to help by reviewing delivery information and can provide delivery confirmation images from the carrier when available. We can also investigate possible misdeliveries and verify the address where delivery was confirmed

Review purchase protection: Many credit card companies provide stolen package coverage—consider filing a claim if this applies to your situation

Custom-Made Filters

Custom filter orders cannot be returned except when manufacturing defects are present.

Custom-sized air filters are manufactured according to the precise measurements you provide during ordering and therefore cannot be returned or refunded. Manufacturing tolerance is ±1/8″ for all filters.

Since custom filters are cut from larger stock materials, they may retain the original size marking. If you suspect you received an incorrect size, we’ll ask you to measure the filter and provide a photograph so we can verify whether it was mislabeled.

Please Note: When filter dimensions exceed 29.81″ on both sides or 35.81″ on one side, material constraints may require us to create a double filter (two filters joined together).

Order Cancellation Procedures

Standard Order Cancellations

To cancel your order before shipment, contact us immediately with your order details ready.

Once the shipping carrier has received your order, our standard return policy applies. For cancellations after carrier pickup, please contact us to request return authorization.

Subscription Cancellations

Subscription customers receive email notifications prior to each scheduled shipment processing.

We’re sorry to see you leave, but if cancellation is necessary…

Visit the Subscriptions section in your Profile and select the “Cancel Subscription” option. You’ll then need to “Confirm” your cancellation request. Your subscription remains active until you complete the confirmation step. Cancellation confirmation emails are sent within 24 hours.
